On May 29, 2024, CRN advanced the construction of the 70-meter CRN M/Y 145-Project Thunderball, a fully custom steel and aluminum superyacht at Ferretti Group’s Ancona Superyacht Yard.

A new phase of construction has kicked off with the dramatic relocation of the hull. On May 29, 2024, in Ancona, CRN advanced the construction of its fully custom vessel, the CRN M/Y 145-Project Thunderball, a 70-meter superyacht made of steel and aluminum. This bespoke yacht, designed and built from scratch, epitomizes CRN’s extensive expertise and craftsmanship.

The hull was transported by sea on a barge to the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona. Upon arrival, a comprehensive 3D scan of the hull was conducted. Following these preliminary steps, skilled artisans will undertake the carpentry, installation of machinery, on-board systems, and equipment, before moving on to the furniture installation.

The hull exterior will also be meticulously primed and painted. The various stages of production will proceed concurrently and in a staggered fashion across different sections of the hull, resembling a symphony orchestra building towards a crescendo – the completion of the yacht.

The megayacht will boast five decks, an overall length of 70 meters, a beam of 11 meters, and a gross tonnage of 1,100 GT, comfortably accommodating up to 12 guests and 15 crew members.
