Overmarine Group has announced the launch of the fourth Mangusta Oceano 50, a flagship model in their long-range line, constructed at the recently expanded Pisa shipyard.

The Mangusta Oceano 50, a 499 GT displacement yacht, boasts a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. This impressive vessel is the result of collaboration between the shipyard’s technical departments, designer Alberto Mancini, and P.L.A.N.A. Design led by engineer Ausonio.

“Another One,” said Stefano Arlunno, President of Mangusta Americas, celebrating the delivery of this Mangusta Oceano to an American owner. He highlighted the strong demand in the American market for their metal yachts, appreciating the exceptional quality and innovative engineering solutions offered by Mangusta.

The Mangusta Oceano 50 is designed to offer ample interior and exterior spaces, seamlessly connected through large floor-to-ceiling windows and unique opening systems. The yacht’s standout outdoor feature is its expansive beach area, equipped with three aft and side doors that fully open to create interconnected terraces on the water.

The bow area also incorporates advanced technological solutions, including an airy and stylish cockpit situated above the garage. Once the tender is launched, this space reveals a 6.5m x 2.6m pool with a counterflow swimming system and hydromassage.

The yacht’s interiors, crafted by designer Alberto Mancini in collaboration with the shipyard, are particularly noteworthy. The master stateroom on the main deck spans 52 square meters (560 square feet) and includes an exclusive, fully automated balcony overlooking the sea. The lower deck features a configuration chosen by the owner, comprising five guest cabins, including a full-beam VIP cabin with separate access.

Powering the Mangusta Oceano 50 are two MTU 12V 2000 M86 engines, each providing 1,700 hp. This enables the yacht to reach speeds of up to 16 knots and offers a range of up to 4,500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 11 knots, allowing for comfortable transoceanic voyages.

The next vessel in the Mangusta Oceano 50 series, hull number 7, is currently available for sale with delivery expected in the summer of 2027.
