The world’s largest carbon fibre catamaran, Mousetrap, is for sale at $19.2M. This 110-foot luxury yacht offers innovative sailing tech, spacious living areas, and high-end amenities.

The world’s largest carbon fibre catamaran has hit the market for $19.2m (£15.2).

The luxury boat, known as Mousetrap, measures 110 feet and has four rooms that can accommodate nine guests and six crew members.

Represented by Fraser Yachts, the catamaran once belonged to Daniel Borel, the co-founder of Swiss tech company, Logitech.

The sailing yacht was designed by VPLP Design, an internationally renowned naval architect, and built as a fully custom project by JFA shipyard.

Mousetrap was built to travel the world and has innovative sailing technology such as hydraulic winches and an expansive gennaker.

The features enable it to cruise in even the most challenging of conditions, as reported by Luxury Boat News.

After completing a decade-long world voyage, Mousetrap underwent an extensive refit from 2021 to 2023.

The owner’s objective was to restore the catamaran to an as-new condition.

Its revamp included new machinery, new sails, the servicing of mast and rigging, new teak decks and fresh paint.

On board, you can find enormous open living spaces and a vast deck.

There is even a jacuzzi, office area, large central bar and lounging area with a wraparound sofa.

All four staterooms have en-suite bathrooms, lofty ceilings, large porch lights and high-tech audiovisual systems.
