An eerie ship, left abandoned after a deadly disease outbreak, has been discovered in a state of eerie preservation, complete with a full casino onboard.
Urban explorer Ben Stevens, 30, from Cambridge, Massachusetts, ventured into the haunted vessel and shared his chilling findings.
Stevens stumbled upon slot machines, playing cards, and a room brimming with casino chips, all left untouched since the ship’s sudden desertion.

The ship’s sinister past seems to deter visitors. “It’s been abandoned ever since a Legionnaires’ disease outbreak occurred on the ship three years ago,” Ben revealed to Luxury Boat News.
He learned from locals living near the dock that some people succumbed to the disease, and they believe the spirits of the deceased now haunt the ship, making it a place to avoid.
“It was literally like a ghost ship,” Ben remarked. “It’s like people were gambling one day and then they all vanished.”
Legionnaires’ disease, a severe lung infection, can be contracted by inhaling water droplets from sources such as air conditioning systems or hot tubs.
Stevens spent several hours exploring the abandoned boat in Florida, enduring the intense heat and overpowering smell of mould.
Despite the conditions, he found the experience fascinating. “It was both creepy and interesting as everything had been left from money and poker chips to all the furniture,”
he said. In one room, he discovered a safe filled with casino chips that would have been exchanged for cash.
Among his finds was $50 in cash, although it was rendered useless by mould.
Ben reflected on the uniqueness of this exploration compared to his usual urban adventures in funeral homes and hospitals.
“It looks like the boat may stay there forever,” he concluded.
The ship, with its ghostly allure and tragic history, stands as a haunting reminder of the past, frozen in time.
