The 60 Sunreef Power Eco stood out for its impressive eco-friendly innovations, including advanced solar technology, high-performance batteries, and an ultralight battery bank.
This electric catamaran combines zero-emission cruising with luxury and comfort, offering silent, vibration-free navigation.
Sunreef’s electric catamarans are powered by custom-designed NMC lithium-ion batteries, which are lightweight yet powerful, and can be recharged through solar panels or wind turbines.
This sustainable propulsion system provides instant torque, allowing for faster acceleration and smoother handling in challenging sea conditions.
The yacht’s solar power system is a highlight, with flexible solar panels fully integrated into the yacht’s structure, including the bimini roof and hulls, to maximize energy generation.
These solar catamarans operate quietly, reduce carbon emissions, and provide a more comfortable and eco-conscious yachting experience.
It’s no surprise that the 60 Sunreef Power Eco has become a favorite of Formula 1 champion Fernando Alonso. The model’s sister yacht, the Sunreef 60 E, also won accolades, including the ‘Best Electric Sailboat’ at the 2021 Gustave Trouvé Awards, further solidifying Sunreef’s leadership in sustainable yachting.
