Ferretti Yachts 940 debuts as a luxurious widebody yacht with spacious design, five cabins, stunning sea views, and Italian craftsmanship, set for global acclaim.

The first unit of the Ferretti Yachts 940, a stunning widebody yacht blending elegance and spaciousness, was launched on January 15, 2025, at the Cattolica shipyard.

Designed as a luxurious “seagoing home,” this vessel offers the perfect setting for both festive gatherings and serene moments, emphasizing the Ferretti Group’s commitment to the domestic Italian market.

Measuring 28.97 meters (95ft 1in) in length and boasting a beam of 6.78 meters (22ft 3in), the yacht features a versatile five-cabin layout, including a full-beam master suite on the main deck. Floor-to-ceiling glazed surfaces provide uninterrupted views of the sea, enhancing the sense of connection with the surrounding environment.

The yacht’s design is a collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee chaired by Piero Ferrari, the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, Filippo Salvetti for exterior styling, and Ideaeitalia for interior design.

The main deck’s stern area, with freestanding furniture and a glass parapet, seamlessly connects to the stern platform, offering a spacious area for relaxation and socializing.

Inside, the 30-square-meter salon reflects Ferretti’s Classic mood, featuring warm, earthy tones. It includes an L-shaped sofa, a sliding TV, and an elegant dining table for eight. The main deck also houses the owner’s suite, adorned with Silver Roots marble and offering a full-beam bathroom and expansive natural light.

The forward outdoor area includes a sunpad, a C-shaped sofa, and a table, while the flybridge provides ample space for al fresco dining and enjoying the sea breeze. The guest accommodations on the lower deck include three VIP cabins and one guest cabin with sliding beds.

Equipped with twin MAN V12 engines generating 2000 mhp, the yacht achieves a top speed of 25 knots and cruises comfortably at 21 knots. The first unit will debut on Italian waters, showcasing its seamless blend of functionality and luxury, with deliveries set to capture attention in the global yachting community.
