A technological marvel, Project 714 features a diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system developed through the Feadship Advanced Electrical Drive (FAED) program.

With 4.5 times the electrical storage of Savannah, Feadship’s first hybrid yacht, she shares innovations with the groundbreaking Obsidian. Her advanced contra-rotating thrusters replace traditional drive shafts and rudders, reducing drag and maximizing efficiency.

Optimized through computational fluid dynamics (CFD), finely tuned pods and propellers minimize vibration for a smoother, quieter experience. This commitment to cutting-edge engineering underscores Feadship’s dedication to innovation, performance, and sustainability.
