The 79.2-meter superyacht formerly known as ALBATROSS has been renamed MOONSTONE after a 26-month Amels refit, debuting a bold new look and enhanced performance.

Following the recent unveiling of the Amels Refit yacht previously known as ALBATROSS, the vessel’s new identity has officially been revealed.

During a private ceremony held at Damen Yachting’s primary shipyard in Vlissingen City, the dramatically redesigned superyacht was christened MOONSTONE.

Now stretching 79.2 metres in length, MOONSTONE originally launched under Delta Marine and has since undergone a comprehensive transformation both inside and out.

Over the past 26 months, the extensive refit has been carried out in partnership with London-based design firm Harrison Eidsgaard, giving the yacht a completely reimagined aesthetic and enhanced capabilities.

As the final phase of her transformation nears completion, MOONSTONE is currently undergoing commissioning and sea trials. On April 29, the superyacht made her first journey beyond the shipyard’s lock and into open waters, marking the beginning of her official post-refit sea testing.
