The Azimut Fly 62, an innovative addition to Azimut’s iconic Series, marks a significant milestone in the evolution of flybridges. This new model, launched on July 29th at the Avigliana production plant, embodies Azimut’s commitment to redefining yacht design with each new release, introducing unique uses of space and surprising solutions that push the boundaries of modern yachting.

Azimut has long been synonymous with the flybridge concept, and the Fly 62 continues this legacy by revolutionizing the cockpit design. Traditionally, flybridge yachts have separated access to the water, but the Fly 62 introduces the Beach Cockpit.

This innovative design sees the transom opening outwards and the sofa lowering synchronously, eliminating physical barriers to create a spacious sunbathing area close to the water. This transformation allows for dining with a sea view and a seamless connection with nature, accommodating diverse activities like swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying an aperitif, all while fostering a shared experience among guests.

Alberto Mancini’s exterior design redefines the category, drawing inspiration from the latest automotive trends and the functional and aesthetic revolution of SUVs. The superstructure’s volumes shift towards the bow, enabling the development of the cockpit while maintaining the sporty aesthetic of the Azimut Fly Series with cleaner lines and surfaces. Mancini’s new hardtop design features hyper-modern lines that complement the horizontal development of the hull windows, enhancing the yacht’s sleek profile.

For the interiors, Azimut continues its collaboration with architect Fabio Fantolino, who has crafted “open” spaces free of visual obstacles, creating a feeling of closeness to the sea. Fantolino’s clean and fresh design incorporates minimalistic details, emphasizing simplicity and elegance.
