The Seadeck 6 stands as a testament to Azimut’s dedication to sustainability and cutting-edge design. Featuring sleek exterior lines by Alberto Mancini and refined interiors by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez, this model represents the shipyard’s most efficient yacht to date.
Leveraging advanced technologies, the Seadeck 6 reduces CO2 emissions by up to 40% annually compared to similar-sized yachts with traditional propulsion systems.
Key innovations include the integration of carbon fiber in the superstructure for weight reduction, paired with a next-generation high-efficiency hull developed in collaboration with NAMES and Azimut|Benetti’s R&D office.
The yacht also debuts the Mild Hybrid Zero Emission Hotel Mode, enabling zero-emission cruising and anchoring by operating without a generator, significantly reducing on-board energy consumption.
Sustainability extends to the materials used throughout the Seadeck 6. Natural and recycled alternatives replace conventional options, such as cork in place of teak, Econyl carpets crafted from regenerated fishing nets, and recycled PET plastic for interior bulkheads instead of PVC. These thoughtful choices underscore Azimut’s mission to redefine the relationship between humanity and the marine environment.
A standout feature of the Seadeck 6 is the Fun Island concept by Mancini, a reimagined beach area designed to enhance social connection. The two fold-out side wings create a spacious terrace over the water, complemented by a high-low platform for easy sea access and a comfortable sundeck for lounging. This space encourages relaxation and interaction, epitomizing the yacht’s focus on fostering meaningful connections on board.
Visitors can experience Azimut’s pioneering designs firsthand at FLIBS 2024, running from October 30 to November 3 at booth Face F (E Dock), 801 Seabreeze Blvd.
