Azimut kicked off 2025 with a prestigious win at the Motorboat Awards 2025, held on January 21st during boot Düsseldorf.
The shipyard’s innovative Seadeck 6 earned the first-ever Innovation Award, recognizing trailblazing advancements in yacht design and sustainability.
Additionally, the Fly 72 received a special mention in the “Flybridge of the Year Over 60 Feet” category, further cementing Azimut’s reputation for excellence in luxury yachting.

The jury praised the Seadeck 6 for its forward-thinking combination of design ingenuity and environmental responsibility.
Highlights include its use of recycled materials, lightweight carbon-fiber construction, and a hybrid propulsion system that reduces CO2 emissions by up to 40% compared to traditional yachts of similar size. Azimut proves that sustainability can coexist with style, luxury, and performance.
Seadeck 6: Redefining Sustainable Yachting
As the first model in Azimut’s groundbreaking Hybrid Yacht Series, the Seadeck 6 marks the beginning of a new “gentle era” of yachting. Its Mild Hybrid Zero Emission Hotel Mode, developed with Volvo Penta, allows for zero-emission anchoring and cruising without a generator, significantly lowering onboard energy consumption.
The yacht’s design also incorporates eco-conscious materials, replacing traditional options with sustainable alternatives.
For example, cork substitutes for teak, Econyl carpeting on the lower deck is crafted from recycled fishing nets, and PET derived from recycled plastics replaces PVC in structural components. These efforts underscore Azimut’s commitment to reducing the environmental footprint of luxury yachts.
Another standout feature is the Fun Island, designed by Alberto Mancini. This reimagined beach area features two side wings that open to create a spacious sea-view terrace, a high-low platform for easy water access, and a large sundeck.
This inviting space fosters social interaction, embodying a new onboard lifestyle focused on connection and relaxation.
