Baglietto announces the sale of the first unit of its FAST 50 yacht, designed by Francesco Paszkowski and Margherita Casprini, combining high performance with timeless elegance.

La Spezia, June 27, 2024 – Baglietto, the renowned Italian shipyard, is pleased to announce the sale of the first unit of its new FAST 50 line, a fast displacement yacht designed by Francesco Paszkowski in collaboration with Margherita Casprini. This sale, just a few months after the model’s press debut, underscores the strong market reception of the FAST 50, which seamlessly combines high performance with timeless elegance.

“We are really happy with this sale which comes only a few months after the official presentation of the model to the press,” commented Fabio Ermetto, CCO of Baglietto. “It is the tangible confirmation of the value of a project that perfectly manages to combine high performance and elegance without time, elements that have always characterized the Baglietto style.

Features that confirm the leadership of our shipyard in the segment of highly customized performance aluminum boats. In fact, four engines guarantee significant performance to this fast displacement hull, without taking anything away from the comfort and liveability requirements that the market demands today and which find their best expression in the FAST 50.”

The FAST 50 draws inspiration from Baglietto’s storied design tradition, which includes iconic yachts such as Pachamama, Monokini, and RUSH. The design features innovative elements introduced with the T52, particularly in the stern area. The stern is conceived on two levels, with a gunwale that folds down to create a bathing platform, while sun loungers are designed as chaise longues for a privileged sea view. A retractable transformer replaces the traditional walkway, maintaining the yacht’s clean lines.

The FAST 50 also embraces a philosophy of seamless indoor-outdoor connection, thanks to full-height windows that open on three sides on both the upper and main decks. This design maximizes views and natural light, enhancing the onboard experience. The choice to move the ventilation ducts outside, integrating them into the hull’s structure, provides ample volume for the main salon, which features a conversation area and TV space. The sky lounge on the upper deck is dedicated to dining.

Automotive design influences are evident in details such as the ventilation ducts and stern cable glands, which evoke sports car exhausts. Unlike previous fast boats, the FAST 50 features three full decks and a wide body concept for the owner’s cabin, enhancing volume while maintaining sleek lines with silk-screened hull windows.

The upper deck’s exterior spaces include a generous stern area with sun loungers and sofas, as well as a private sunbathing area and a hydromassage tub at the bow, offering a unique, private view. The lower deck houses two VIP cabins and two twin cabins, all with ensuite bathrooms. The crew area includes a large dinette, captain’s cabin, and four cabins with Pullman beds.

The yacht’s tender, up to 7 meters in length, is stored in a garage with a flooding launch system located behind the engine room. The FAST 50 is powered by four MTU 2000M93L engines, enabling a top speed of 30 knots, and its semi-tunnel hull allows navigation in shallow waters.
