La Spezia, July 25, 2024 – Baglietto, the historic shipyard based in La Spezia, has announced a major milestone with the delivery of five motor yachts ranging from 41m to 52m at the start of the 2024 summer season. This achievement underscores the shipyard’s dedication to craftsmanship and innovation in yacht building.
Among the deliveries is the T52 Ark of Fate, which recently won the prestigious World Superyacht Award 2024 in the “Displacement Motor Yachts 499GT and below, 45m and above” category. The Ark of Fate is currently sailing in Asia. Additionally, Baglietto delivered two DOM 133 motor yachts, Barbara Anne and Astera, as well as two more T52 yachts, Akula and Infinity.

“This production milestone is a testament to the dedication and growth we’ve invested in our workforce and infrastructure,” said Diego Michele Deprati, CEO of Baglietto. “We have expanded our surface area and increased efficiency, and we are completing tests to make the B-Zero green hydrogen station operational, which will generate clean energy through fuel cells. This initiative is part of our long-term commitment to sustainability and innovation.”

Baglietto specializes in the construction of planing aluminum boats from 38 to 50 meters and displacement and semi-displacement megayachts from 40 meters in steel and aluminum. The shipyard operates two production sites: the headquarters in La Spezia and the operational unit in Carrara. The La Spezia site covers approximately 35,000 square meters and has recently been renovated to include three new warehouses for boats up to 65 meters and docks for ships up to 70 meters. The Carrara unit has two areas of 5,000 square meters each for the construction of military vessels and yachts up to 50 meters.
