On July 19th, Benetti celebrated a significant milestone at its Livorno shipyard with the launch of M/Y Iryna 66m custom, the first yacht in the B.Now 67 series. The vessel’s owner reaffirmed his trust in Benetti by commissioning this project, looking forward to continuing his journey within the Benetti range, assured by their exceptional construction and design standards.

Mark Gardiner, Head of Exterior Design at RWD, expressed immense pride in the latest and largest yacht in the B.Now series, emphasizing the fruitful partnership with Benetti in crafting yachts that seamlessly blend elegance, balanced proportions, and Italian dynamism, resulting in a design signature unmistakably Benetti.
Arcon Yachts, representing the owner’s interests, stated, “We are proud to have successfully facilitated another purchase for our repeat client, acting as sales brokers. Our team worked in close synergy with Benetti, resulting in the creation of M/Y Iryna, built to the highest standards of design and quality.”
The exterior styling of M/Y Iryna, crafted by the renowned UK firm RWD, features the innovative Oasis Deck® concept. This design revolutionizes the aft cockpit, transforming vertical barriers into an extension of the deck, enhancing the connection with the sea, and includes a built-in pool and a 270-degree field of view across 190 square metres. The aft salon offers a blend of sunlight and shade, allowing guests to enjoy the deck throughout the day, while the Social Design turns the entire deck into a spacious, inviting oasis.
The hull and superstructure’s personalized coloring, with three different shades of grey, accentuates the exterior styling. The yacht is also distinguished by extensive, primarily curved glazing that covers up to 70% of the overall vertical surface.
The interior, almost entirely bespoke, was designed by Benetti’s Interior Design Department under the guidance of Mariarosa Remedi. The owner played a pivotal role in defining the spaces, requesting the shipyard to create a setting that showcases loose furniture from his favorite brand, Visionnaire. The interiors are luxuriously clad in untreated leather, and on the Lower Deck, the leather is custom-designed for this yacht. Prestige woods like curly maple wood and macassar ebony cover the floors, complemented by marble-effect ceramic tiling chosen as an eco-friendly alternative to marble.
With a steel hull, M/Y Iryna boasts six decks, offering vast outdoor and indoor spaces. The yacht includes around 500 square metres of usable outdoor space and a 65-square-metre Main Salon. The full-beam owner’s suite on the Upper Deck was made possible by relocating the wheelhouse and captain’s cabin to a higher deck.
M/Y Iryna accommodates up to 15 guests in its two VIP cabins on the Main Deck and four cabins on the Lower Deck. The yacht also features numerous wellness areas, including a sauna in the beach club and a gym on the Main Deck, both built at the owner’s request.
Set for delivery to her owner at the end of the summer, M/Y Iryna marks a record achievement for Benetti, completing the project in under three years from the initial sketches, thanks to the successful implementation of the B.Now platform concept.
