Each year, Hurun’s Chinese Luxury Consumer Survey gathers insights from a panel of 750 affluent Chinese individuals—averaging CNY 47.5 million (approx. US$6.5 million) in wealth—to understand luxury market preferences.

Azimut’s strong performance in this influential study reflects not only brand loyalty but also a growing appetite for sustainable innovation among China’s luxury consumers.

The award for “Best Innovative Yacht Brand,” which Azimut had previously earned, recognizes the company’s continued leadership in marrying cutting-edge technology with refined craftsmanship.

The Seadeck 7, a product of collaboration between exterior designer Alberto Mancini and interior designers Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez, was honored for its hybrid propulsion system and progressive design.

As the first production yacht to combine a hybrid-electric setup with Volvo Penta IPS propulsion, it delivers up to 40% lower CO₂ emissions over a typical year of use—without compromising luxury or performance.

The Seadeck 7 embodies Azimut’s forward-thinking approach. Its high-efficiency hull, extensive use of carbon for weight reduction, and advanced electrification account for the emission cuts.

A signature feature is the “Fun Island,” an open aft space that merges seamlessly with the sea, designed to foster an emotional connection with the ocean. Even the interior design follows a sustainable path, incorporating natural, recycled, and recyclable materials in a warm, minimalist style.

This recognition not only cements Azimut’s innovation leadership but also strengthens its presence in the Chinese market, where the brand has delivered nearly 200 yachts since 2006. With the Seadeck 7, Azimut redefines what’s possible in luxury yachting—offering owners a sophisticated, sustainable lifestyle without compromise.
