Project Monte-Carlo is a striking new 62-meter superyacht from Heesen, featuring a four-deck design by British studio Harrison Eidsgaard. As one of Heesen’s most ambitious projects to date, the yacht boasts a sleek exterior with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, reaching a top speed of 16 knots.
With a voluminous 1,340 GT, the yacht is equipped with serial hybrid propulsion and space for a large battery bank, underscoring Heesen’s commitment to sustainable yachting.
The vessel will accommodate up to 12 guests in six luxurious suites and is tailored to meet the modern owner’s desire for extended stays on board, combining comfort, privacy, and cutting-edge design.

Heesen CEO Niels Vaessen explained that the demand for larger yachts like Project Monte-Carlo comes from a growing trend among owners to maximize onboard space for family and social experiences.
The owner’s deck is a prime example of this, offering complete privacy with a master suite, office, sundeck, jacuzzi, and fold-down balcony. This flexible layout allows future owners to customize the space as they see fit.
Guest accommodations, spread across the main and lower decks, will include a mix of five VIP cabins and doubles, ensuring a comfortable stay for everyone on board.
Project Monte-Carlo also emphasizes a seamless connection with the sea, featuring a 23-square-meter glass-sided pool and fold-down wings that place guests right over the water.
The main deck houses a ‘beach lounge’ with sliding doors that open to the ocean, creating an informal dining area for up to 14 guests. Other standout amenities include a firepit lounge, outdoor kitchen, and semi-open sky lounge with a hidden pop-up TV for movie nights under the stars.
Wellness is a key focus of the yacht, with a lower-deck wellness center that includes a gym, sauna, hammam, and massage room. The beach club is designed for launching water toys, with ample storage for e-foils, wave runners, diving gear, and two tenders for shore excursions.
Sustainability is central to the yacht’s design, in line with Heesen’s BlueNautech strategy. The vessel will feature hybrid propulsion, allowing for efficient cruising at 12 knots while reaching speeds of up to 16 knots. It also includes space for future green technology, such as a methanol-ready tank and the potential for hydrogen combustion or fuel cell conversion.
Heesen’s Design & Development General Manager, Peter Van Der Zanden, highlighted the growing interest among owners in reducing their environmental impact, noting that the yacht’s green solutions align with this trend without significantly affecting build time or costs.
