Heesen Yachts will showcase three of its finest yachts at the Superyacht Village during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
These include the 2022 50m semi-displacement Book Ends, the 2021 50m FDHF ELA, and the 2011 55m After You, originally launched as Quinta Essentia. All three yachts feature aluminum hulls, highlighting Heesen’s expertise in crafting high-performance vessels.
Book Ends and ELA represent recent deliveries in Heesen’s semi-custom range, with their owners personalizing the interiors to their tastes.

Book Ends features bespoke furniture designed by the owner, while ELA’s interior was customized in collaboration with designer Cristiano Gatto. After You, a full custom yacht, exemplifies the durability and timelessness of Heesen’s craftsmanship.
Heesen CCO Ruud van der Stroom emphasized the importance of the Fort Lauderdale show for connecting with American clients, highlighting the yard’s focus on delivering under-500GT yachts with fast turnaround times. He noted that the 50m hybrid Project Orion is available for sale with delivery in early 2025, followed by Project Sophia in 2026.
At the Monaco Yacht Show, CEO Niels Vaessen emphasized the significance of the American market, noting the country’s vast yachting culture and its affluent clientele.
Heesen’s U.S. representative, Thom Conboy, acknowledged that political uncertainty ahead of the U.S. election has impacted luxury purchases, but he expects confidence to return once results are settled. Heesen’s stand will be located at SYV12 during the show.
