Moskito is part of Heesen’s 55m steel series, offering luxury and advanced engineering. A sister ship, Project Agnetha, is under construction and available for delivery in Q2 2025, making it the only yacht of its size from a Northern European shipyard currently on the market.
Heesen will also unveil the 62m Project Monte-Carlo, a custom yacht designed in collaboration with Harrison Eidsgaard. This new project gives clients a platform to create their dream yacht while benefiting from Heesen’s engineering expertise.
More details about Project Monte-Carlo will be shared at Heesen’s press conference on September 25, where CEO Niels Vaessen will provide updates on the company’s projects and future strategy.
Vaessen highlighted Moskito and Project Monte-Carlo as prime examples of Heesen’s broad portfolio, showcasing both series and custom yachts.
He also emphasized Heesen’s commitment to sustainability, with their BlueNautech program focused on minimizing environmental impact through innovative technologies and eco-friendly practices.
Additionally, the event marks a leadership transition at Heesen, as Mark Cavendish retires after 16 years, with Ruud van der Stroom stepping in as Chief Commercial Officer.
