Rupert Connor of Luxury Yachts, representing the owners, highlighted the seamless collaboration with Heesen Yachts in constructing the superyacht Solemates.
“Heesen’s exceptional quality and dedication to surpassing expectations made them the natural choice for our experienced client,” Connor noted, praising the Dutch shipyard’s enthusiastic approach to the project.
Now entering the commissioning phase, Solemates is set for sea trials in the North Sea, where her performance will be rigorously tested. Designed with a focus on family use, the yacht embodies the owner’s vision of creating a warm and inviting space for cherished moments at sea.

Interior customisation is managed by Heesen’s engineers alongside Silvia Margutti of Luca Dini Design and Architecture. Together, they’ve crafted a vibrant and elegant colour palette featuring lime green, teal, and baby aqua blue, aligning with the yacht’s family-friendly ethos.
One standout feature is the main staircase, adorned with acrylic panels embedded with gold flakes and crystals for a striking visual effect. The bridge deck salon encourages family gatherings, while the sundeck’s expanded jacuzzi and bar offer perfect spots for relaxation and socialising.
Heesen’s team worked closely with the owner to incorporate enhancements that maximise leisure and entertainment. CEO Niels Vaessen celebrated the achievement, stating, “The launch of Solemates showcases our commitment to exceptional quality and innovative design, exceeding our clients’ aspirations.”
Solemates will debut at the Monaco Yacht Show in September and the Palm Beach International Boat Show thereafter, with delivery scheduled for Q2 2025. This exceptional vessel reinforces Heesen Yachts’ reputation for excellence in luxury yacht manufacturing.
