Patrone and Tommaso Spadolini have teamed up once more, continuing their legacy of elegant yacht design. The Italian shipyard has commissioned Spadolini to create a new yacht inspired by the classic “gozzo” boats of the 1960s. Following the success of the Patrone 100, a 33-foot day cruiser launched in 2022 to commemorate the shipyard’s centennial, they have now unveiled the larger and more spacious Patrone 45′.
According to Spadolini, the Patrone 45′ emerged from the popularity of the Patrone 100 and the requests from yacht owners desiring the same elegance and charm on a grander scale. The goal for the Patrone 45′ was to design an open cruiser that allows for a full day of outdoor living without compromising interior comfort.

The Patrone 45′ spans 46 feet, presenting a contemporary take on the traditional Ligurian gozzo. It boasts a sleek silhouette and a sporty hull, powered by a V-Drive transmission and twin Yanmar 440 hp turbodiesel engines. Although specific range and top speed details are not yet available, the yacht promises notable speed and seaworthiness. Additionally, it incorporates sustainable materials, including an eco-tech deck top and a hull made from low-impact resins.
The yacht’s living quarters are designed to be light and airy, featuring large windows that offer stunning sea views. Patrone provides extensive customization options with five interior layouts. Owners can choose configurations that include up to three cabins, two bathrooms, and a galley. The owner’s cabin and its accompanying bathroom are fixed at the bow, but the rest of the layout can be tailored to the owner’s preferences, including the option for a second covered galley or one located in the cockpit.
The Patrone 45′ seamlessly integrates its interior with the exterior. The bridge is equipped with a T-top for shade without obstructing views, and the cockpit features high topsides for added protection. The aft deck includes a table and a hydraulic sofa that can seat eight, which can be raised to access the engine room—an innovation stemming from the practical experience of the Moreno family, who are avid sailors. The yacht also offers a spacious sundeck measuring over 20 square feet and a large stern swim platform that fully utilizes the 14-foot beam.
In essence, the Patrone 45′ blends classic elegance with modern technology, providing a luxurious and customizable cruising experience that meets the needs of discerning yacht owners.
