Sanlorenzo MED, the European commercial network of the luxury yacht builder Sanlorenzo, has appointed Johannes H. Brechmann as the new General Manager of its subsidiary Sanlorenzo Baleari SL. This strategic move strengthens the company’s focus on the Spanish and Portuguese markets.
Sanlorenzo MED, under the leadership of CEO Ferruccio Rossi, oversees key European territories through its subsidiaries, including Sanlorenzo Monaco SAM, managed by Rossi himself, and Sanlorenzo Côte d’Azur SAS, headed by Giuseppe Zecchin in Cannes. Brechmann, based in Palma, will now lead the commercial development efforts in Spain and Portugal.

Ferruccio Rossi welcomed Brechmann’s return to the company, citing his extensive experience and prior contributions in Mallorca as vital assets. “Johannes will significantly contribute to strengthening our direct presence in the Spanish and Portuguese markets, further consolidating Sanlorenzo’s position as a leader in the industry,” said Rossi.
Brechmann, who has been in the yachting industry since 2007, expressed his pride in returning to Sanlorenzo, a brand he has long admired. “For me, Sanlorenzo has always been a benchmark. I am happy to have returned to the Sanlorenzo family,” he said.
Sanlorenzo S.p.A. is a globally recognized leader in the luxury yachting sector, renowned for its custom-made yachts and superyachts. Founded in 1958, the company has maintained a high-end brand positioning, producing a limited number of yachts characterized by unique design, comfort, and safety. Today, the company operates four shipyards in Italy, employing over 1,200 people and collaborating with a network of artisans.
In 2023, Sanlorenzo reported impressive financial results, with €840.2 million in net revenues from new yacht sales and a Group net profit of €92.8 million. The company continues to leverage its international distribution network and partnerships with renowned designers, solidifying its status as a leader in the industry.
