Sunreef 43M Eco: World’s Largest Single-Shot Hull Infusion Project

Sunreef Yachts achieves a record with the Sunreef 43M Eco, the world’s largest eco-friendly catamaran, featuring a groundbreaking single-shot hull infusion and solar-powered systems.

Sunreef Yachts has reached a major milestone in building the Sunreef 43M Eco, soon to be the world’s largest eco-friendly electric catamaran. The shipyard in Gdańsk, Poland, recently completed the composite hull infusion, marking it as the largest single-shot hull infusion in yachting history.

Spanning 43 meters in length and 15.4 meters in width, the hull has a composite surface area of 1,700 m² and is engineered with a lightweight foam core to optimize performance.

The hull is scheduled for unmolding by the end of the year. Integrated into the hull design are over 120 m² of solar panels, part of a total 250 m² of solar coverage across the yacht, which will power the vessel’s electric propulsion and sustainable energy systems.

“This milestone reflects our commitment to pioneering energy-efficient yachting,” said Francis Lapp, Sunreef Yachts’ Founder and President. The 43M Eco will also feature an innovative hydrogeneration system, creating clean energy while under sail, along with a 1MWh solid-state battery storage system to enhance its eco-friendly capabilities.

Designed to host up to 12 guests, the Sunreef 43M Eco combines luxury with sustainable innovation, offering advanced technologies and customizable spaces. With its commitment to clean energy and high performance, this yacht signals a new era of environmentally responsible yachting.
